Mo on Push and Pull
Mo says things that I have been trying to verbalise about Mridangam.
If I were a bird, this would be my nest. I keep here a collection of eggs: writing, and game design. As eggs, they are in various states of completion! Where did my posting schedule go? I have a livejournal feed.

Hey Shreyas, what's Mridangam?
I mean, of course, besides a drum.
It's a game I'm working on for PUSH. The premise is that it's a roleplaying game that evolved out of formalised improv theatre rather than war/minis gaming, with Bharatnatyam color.
Oooh! Sounds exciting!
PUSH being Jonathan Walton's publication, yes?
Sounds really neato. I read a bunch about Bharatnatyam when I was researching a Mage character years ago. He was a Son of Ether musicologist who believed that music gave humanity glimpses of the divine consciousness, and that if only we could find the correct expression of it, humanity could be led to Ascension on a global scale. As Bharatnatyam is the embodiment of music in its visual (dancing) form (right? I'm not mistaking this?) I did some exploration into it. The character led me to some terrific places.
Also, I used to be a huge theatre geek and an improv performer. So you've piqued my interest all over the place.
Shreyas,
That. Sounds. Awesome.
